This house is placed in Monchique the ”garden of Algarve”, in Picota. It is surrounded by orange-trees, lemon-trees, fig-trees and almond-trees.

It can be compared to an oasis. Monchique is very famous because of the spa, the medicinal and therapeutic waters. The house is far from the noise and from the traffic, it is recommended to people who look for calm and introspection. The place has beautiful panoramic view till the sea.

Casa Karuna is a house with the ”splendour” of simplicity. The doors are always open to any religion, race or group with inclination to a positive way.

WORKPEOPLE are always welcome. We welcome people to work on many services: gardening, home-keeping etc, 6 hours a day
Board and Lodging - 10 Euro per day

Possibilities and capacity of the house:

  • Number of Persons: no limit (because there is space for tents and you can let houses out of the enclosed space);
  • A big and a small room for meditation and seminaries;
  • Two cabins for to meditate alone;
  • Bedrooms: individual, double or for more number of people. (Bring sleeping bag);
  • The house has many bathrooms with the sufficient comfort;
  • A natural swimming pool with a water-fall;
  • A Sauna;
  • A water-spring;
  • Kitchens
  • Vegetarian food. You can order it or do it yourself.
